Development of an Insulated Container for the Implementation of the Delivery of Special Cargo Using an Unmanned Aerial System

One of the most popular areas of research and development is the field of remote cargo delivery by unmanned aircraft systems. At the moment, advanced companies engaged in the development of a drone have already launched working projects for cargo delivery using unmanned aircraft systems. The presented systems have their advantages and disadvantages as they are created for a specific model of quadrocopters. The first stage in the work was the analysis of systems and projects from industrial companies. The object of the study was selected medical supplies within the megalopolis (microdistrict) of the city. Based on the analysis performed, as well as taking into account the specifics of the transportation of medical goods, the requirements for the new hardware complex being developed for the transportation of especially important goods are presented. Based on the requirements, a prototype of a new device, a cargo container for the transportation of medical devices, was created. A series of experiments were carried out on the basis of the SUAI unmanned aircraft systems laboratory, during which the temperature was measured using a thermal imager and a built-in temperature sensor in the instrument complex. Based on the data obtained during laboratory tests, the efficiency coefficient of the cargo container project was calculated. The next step was the possible ways to improve the efficiency of the device.
