The Concept of Implementing an Adaptive System for Testing and Monitoring High-Speed Electronic Products

The article gives the proposals for building the architecture of high-speed automated test systems for monitoring electronic products. The system consists of a low-frequency base module and a high-frequency dynamic control module. The use of phase principles ensures the adaptation of the system to operate in a wide frequency range when the electrical length of the channels for transmitting test signals is not identical. The synchronization efficiency in the frequency range is determined by the use of finely discrete phase synthesizers and high-precision automatic phase adjustment in the channels. The impact on the test results of the dynamic characteristics of functional units, the inertia of elements and signal delays is automatically compensated. Optimization of the structure of subsystems and estimate of the signal delays in the control circuit allow selecting the parameters of the blocks and provide the required dynamic characteristics.
