A novel hybrid technique with optimization for enabling Qos for network controlled vertical handoff mechanism in heterogonous network

In wireless sensor networks, vertical handoff mechanisms are becoming an attractive topic that focuses on improving mobility models in this model. Seamless mobility management offers existing Node's location point to another network in a significant way with failure in communication process on different heterogeneous wireless networks provide better service. Handover is also called Handoff, exchanging payload between two different nodes. The handover can be categorized as horizontal and vertical handover. Here, the vertical Handoff is considered where WLAN takes the service (payload) to a cellular network and vice versa. In this work, the proposed technique provides effective handover processing in the wireless sensor network area. Therefore, the proposed technique utilizes a hybrid grey wolf optimization technique (HGWO). The implementation is done on the NS2 platform that helps to prove the proposed technique is better than existing in terms of performance analysis metrics such as Delay, load balancing, throughput, energy, and call drop.
