Green Technology E-toll Card: Level of acceptance and use of a technology

This study aimed to measure the level of acceptance and use of e-toll card technology. Respondents in this study were e-toll card users in four metropolitan cities in Indonesia, such as Bandung, Jakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya. The analysis method used was Structural Equation Model (SEM). This study indicated that perceived usefulness affected the attitudes of E- Toll Card usage. Perceived usefulness and Subjective Norm did not affect the intention to use e-toll cards. Perceived ease of use affected the perceived benefit of e toll card users. Perceived Behavioral Control and Attitude e toll card users affected the Intention To Use of e toll card users. The toll road manager immediately conveys the information regarding the e toll card related to the use and redeployment. Customers are given a choice of e-toll cards from all participating banks when bidding to customers. The toll road manager guarantees the receipt printer for every transaction made by the e-toll card user. The government guarantees toll road users no difficulties refilling e toll cards to support the non-cash national movement.
