Sensor Based Health Monitoring System Using Embedded Technology

Our solution is a wireless technology that allows for real-time monitoring of the health of a large number of patients. In health care facilities, patient data such as pulse rate, blood pressure, temperature, and breathing must be monitored on a regular basis. The proposed system monitors the patient's heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate. To determine heart rate, for example, a heartbeat sensor is used. A transmitting module is installed, which employs a NODE MCU coupled with WIFI to broadcast the encoded serial data indefinitely. In the doctor's cabin, a receiver device is installed that continuously receives and decodes data and displays it on a user interface on a PC or laptop. As a result, the doctor can keep an eye on and monitor a large number of patients at the same time. In addition, the system continuously analyses the data of the patient(s) and transmits an ALERT message to the doctor's mobile phone if any suspected abnormalities are detected. If the doctor is not in his chamber, the system's GSM module sends a message to all of the doctors in the unit, include ng the patient's room number.
