Perceptions of the digital generation and the millennials on online education during the pandemic

Based on a relevant review and primary research, we examined the benefits and drawbacks of online education in a generation-specific way in this study. Generational variations may be found in a variety of areas, ranging from general values and mindsets to learning habits. Students’ perceptions on digital education, which has come to the forefront in the aftermath of the pandemic, can be a valuable source of data. We have discovered in our primary research that various generations have different attitudes online education, indicating that there is a statistically verifiable correlation between generational affiliation and how online education is perceived. Furthermore, we found that Generation Z, sometimes known as the digital generation, regarded online education as less positive, and traditional, face-to-face education as more enjoyable and effective. We believe that the results of this research can be a good guide for the methodological development of education and the development of generation-specific solutions.
