Research on Retention Evaluation Method of Floating Gate Memory Used in Aerospace

For its data retention character after power off, floating gate memory has widely used in space mission, which requires long service life, and less endurance cycles. Meanwhile, floating gate memory is usually used for main program or data storage. Therefore the data retention directly affects the operation reliability of the spacecraft on orbit. An evaluation method of floating gate memory retention capability is proposed in this paper, basing on the research of data retention mechanism and analysis of relevant standards. This method could be used for evaluating or qualifying the retention of floating gate memory used in space.
