Implementation of Pruned DFT Spread Filter Bank Multicarrier System for Low PAPR

With no cyclic prefix, improved spectral shaping, less unwanted frequency outside the required band width provided by the Filter Bank Multicarrier system, makes it a dominant waveform than Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing. But the effects of Quadrature Amplitude modulation and Inverse Fourier Transform constitute the high output transmit power than mean power. High PAPR makes the output nonlinear and affects the efficiency of Power amplifier leading to higher cost system. Therefore, a precoding method that must reduce the peak power along with its original properties is proposed. The combination of pruned Discrete Fourier transform with spread method cancels the effects of IFFT. The proposed system is also transmitted through doubly selective channel to determine its robustness against fading impairments.
