Design and Performance Evaluation of a Hash-Shape Slotted Microstrip Antenna for Future High-Speed 5G Wireless Communication Technology

This research presents and builds a Hash-shape slotted microstrip antenna that can be used for future wireless communication. The antenna can be utilized to achieve a high bits while reducing freight and increasing consumer engagement. The return loss, gain, and bandwidth of a traditional rectangular microstrip antenna are improved by implementing a hash-shape slot into the patch. The suggested MPA is formed on a 0.8-mm deep FR4 substrate with dielectric permittivity of 4.3 and a loss factor of 0.025. The patch is fed via a 50 Ω feeding line. The return loss, gain, and bandwidth of the presented antenna are −32.159 dB, 8.07 dBi, and 3.848 GHz, respectively.
