Error Calculation for Prediction of Flight Delays using Machine Learning Classifiers

Flight delays are a major issue for the airline. The evolution of the aviation industry over the previous two decades as a result, Flight delays were caused by increasing air traffic congestion. Flight delays are not only costly, but they are also harmful to the environment. Flight delays lead commercial airlines to make a loss. As a result, they take every measure to avoid or reduce flight delays and cancellations by implementing a variety of safeguards. To anticipate how a flight will be delayed, machine learning algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Decision Tree Regression, Bayesian Ridge, Random Forest Regression, and Gradient Boosting Regression have been employed.
