Towards Fully Voltage-controlled Fractional-order Oscillator Realization

Two novel fully voltage-controlled fractional-order oscillators using a single active device of multiplication mode current conveyors (MMCC) with both frequency of oscillation (FOO) and condition of oscillation (COO) controlled independently by control voltage have been presented in this paper for the first time. These fractional order voltage-controlled oscillators (FO-VCOs) have been synthesized and analyzed for integer order and three special fractional order cases and presented together with the relevant MATLAB plots. The performance of the oscillators has been authenticated on PS PICE with the AD835 and AD844 library files to realize MMCC.
