Method to Determine Fault-Tolerant Performance Probability of High-Survivability Computer Network based on Mobile Platform

Computer networks based on a mobile platform are becoming widespread. There are a number of characteristics according to which such networks can be classified. One such class is high-survivability computer networks based on a mobile platform. Such networks are characterized by fault tolerance of nodes, architecture, routing schemes and other parameters. Theoretical developments allow calculating the behavioral strategies of such networks depending on the events that affect the network functionality. But there is a fairly small set of methods that can determine the fault-tolerant performance probability of networks belonging to this class at the stage of planning network operation in an unfavorable environment. Thus, it is important to develop a numerical method for determining the fault-tolerant performance probability of a high-survivability computer network based on a mobile platform for implementation in megasystems for planning long-term operations using this class of networks. The paper presents the essence of the offered method on an example of the mathematical description of a network and states of its functioning, a trajectory of behavior, examples of calculating the indicators of fault-tolerant performance probability on the set time interval for various states of a network are given. It is concluded that the numerical method can be used to determine the reliability of the network, for which the methods of accelerated modeling, analytical-statistical and artificial moments of regeneration cannot be applied. The use of the developed method in the study of highly reliable networks based on a mobile platform, which contain non-regenerative elements, is proposed.
