Design of a Mobile Aeration System for Aquaculture and Proof of Concept

Pond aquaculture has played a significant role in contributing to economic growth in countries such as Bangladesh where numerous families depend on little scale fish lakes to enhance their employments. Oxygen is fundamental basic need of endurance ashore as well as in water body. Therefore, choosing a suitable aerator is itself a vital task. Furthermore, numerous advancements to diversify the types of aerators have taken place in order to boost the production of aquatic species. To control vital factors and thus escalate the market supply, aquaculture has been keen to technological developments. It has been found in this paper about two important issues-the first being, coming up with a new design of the aerator unlike before and the second issue is reducing the high greater power consumption of the aerator as shown in a calculation along with making it mobile so that oxygenation of the ponds is done evenly; this makes the device apt for pond aquaculture in rural areas with a lack of resources. In simple words, the paper proposes a prototype concept of a new model of mobile aeration system. Additionally, unlike the other aerators in the market, a new navigation system for the aerator is proposed along the tank; however, this has been adapted on the idea of rotational or circular motion.
