Material Optimization of Triboelectric Nano-generator for Biomedical Applications

A Tribo electric Nano-generator (TENG) is a revolutionary component with potential uses in biomedical applications, power harvesting, self charged estimating, pharmaceuticals and electronic system. Polymer compounds, metals, and inorganic chemicals are among the materials utilized as triboelectric layers. Dual electric polymers such as PTFE, PDMS, PVDF and Polycarbonate are the most often utilized materials. Pollution free chemicals, such as cellulose based materials, have recently gained a boom, and the performance of TENGs made of cellulose has increased. Chemical compond selection is critical for TENGs since the triboelectric effects of the materials are critical for TENGs. Several criteria, including power density, stability, adaptability, and sustainability, must be addressed while designing a TENG for a certain application. The material analysis for TENGs in various applications will be summarized and evaluated in this critical assessment. We are considering implementing in the patient morning system, Which is used to power up the ECG module and take the signal from the patient's heartbeat and contractions.
