Analysis and Classification of Rhizome rot Disease for Turmeric Plant using Artificial Intelligence

Agriculture plays a vital role in the economy and growth of our society. Pinpointing the plant disease is pivotal because it leads to better crop productivity. Turmeric, the rhizomatous crop and popular for its medicinal, culinary and non-culinary applications. Turmeric is contaminated to several diseases among which the rhizome rot is one such disease which leads to major downfall in production of the crop and creates a huge agony to the farmers. The database with distinct pH values were generated and handled using tree classifier and linear regression algorithm to forecast the rhizome rot of turmeric. The prediction and accuracy of the training by machine learning algorithms are compared. This paper uses the algorithm for detecting and preventing the disease spread to the entire plant.
