LoRa Assisted Intelligent Troop Tracking and Location Monitoring System over Defense Environment

This study describes the implementation of a LoRa WAN by Thai citizens dubbed "Universal and Ubiquitous" (ULoRa) for use in tactical troop monitoring systems utilizing the Internet of Things. The suggested long-range communication system also includes an end device with GPS and other sensors for geographical and physiological tracking, in contrast to the Raspberry-Pi based access point. Bridge-to-bridge Wi-Fi communications between different access points are used to access a server in the proposed system. The end node may accommodate up to ten sensors, including GPS, temperature, humidity, and water sensors. All data may be viewed in real time at the monitoring station. The proposed system, which employs signal strength of 4dBi, provides long-range communications and reduced power operation in a military camp. The overall system is helpful to situations like transferring the data over disaster environment, defense area and so on. Based on these features the proposed logic is designed to support troops to track their location using smart sensing unit and the resulting section shows the proper block diagram and associated things to prove the efficiency of the proposed logic.
