A Wireless Communication Protocol Enabled School Bus Tracking System using Internet of Things Support

There are a number of practical transportation concerns that school children confront nowadays, such as transit problems and mismatches in location. There is a lack of communication between parents and schools on the well-being of their children at school, even if they are also unaware of their children's situation. These challenges need the introduction of a Smartcard oriented Bus Navigation Maintenance Scheme (BNMS) together with Internet of Things (IoT) support. From any location in the globe, parents can keep an eye on their children thanks to this IoT programmed. With the use of a Navigation sensor, the bus's exact location is recorded and entered into the system, along with the student's name. IoT -enabled smart cards must be scanned at the bus stop before and after a student gets on or exits the vehicle, ensuring that the student's entrance and departure patterns are recorded in a cloud-based database. To prevent kidnapping and to improve school bus transportation, this approach has been developed. “The system is completely automated and user-friendly. The embedded Arduino kit as well as Ethernet shield is used to interact with the sensors on board the car. Application servers are built using C# and Sql Server on a cloud-based platform. When an IoT -based monitoring system incorporates radar on the car, it can help drivers prevent accidents by providing parking assistance as well as blind spot identification. This IoT -enabled car has the potential to improve the lives of both drivers and passengers.
