Education Reform: Role of Social Media in Education

Social media in education is new normal these days. Most of the students as well as academician and instructors at different levels are using social media to upgrade their knowledge base as well as to educate their students. There have been many changes in education system and learning system since few decades but usage of technology in education is among major recent development. This paper focuses on various different social media platforms which are used in learning and how over the period of time it has become opportunity in learning and teaching. Paper also aims at discussing substantial change in social media in during this pandemic situation. Paper concludes about implications and effect to social media in education industry.
