Dynamic Device-centric Fog Networks Architecture for Cellular Communication System

In this research paper, we propose a device-centric fog networks communication architecture for 5G. It uses the advantages of fog computing, 5G, and having two modes of communication, named Device-centric and Network-centric. The mode selection and switching procedure are subject to the network’s performance and quality metrics during the communication. Thereafter, we introduce a relay-assisted mobility management procedure for dynamic mobile nodes over the proposed network’s architecture. To check the efficiency and effectiveness of the suggested network architecture we formulate and simulate the proposed work with high network load and node mobility, then and compare our result with the latest used cellular network (LTE) w.r.t the energy-consumption and delay. We observed that the proposed work has 55% improvement over the legacy of networks.
