Analysis of the Influence of the Number of Split Wires on the UHV Electromagnetic Environment

Traditional high-voltage power transmission can no longer meet the dependence of China's rapid economic development on electricity, so it has become an inevitable trend to vigorously build and develop UHV power transmission systems. UHV transmission can greatly increase the transmission power and reduce the transmission loss while also causing the increase of the electromagnetic field and the electromagnetic environment. Splitting the wire is one of the effective methods to solve the electromagnetic environment problem. Based on Maxwell's simulation of two-dimensional electric field, this paper explores the influence of different number of split wires on electric field strength, corona dissipation, radio interference and audible noise, and gives the optimal wire splitting parameters.
