AquaBot – Water Bodies Cleaning and Monitoring Bot

Water is basic and vital for all the living organisms on the earth. Water management is a complex process in today’s world. Proper treatment of water bodies is highly necessary to avoid the diseases spreading to both aquatic organisms and people who consume the ill-treated water. This involves the need for a novel method with recent technologies. The method presented is an IoT (Internet of Things) based Autonomous water Vehicle (AWV) - AquaBot to replace manual cleaning of water bodies. The quality of water is checked time-to-time using Sensors further which the data is sent to a Cloud Server. This AquaBot starts to clean the water bodies once the water gets contaminated, the waste is transferred to a tank which is also monitoring using IoT and triggers a notification once the tank gets full. GPS location of the highly contaminated water body is shared to municipality using IoT if there is a huge and drastic change in the water body.
