Hybrid Optimization based Power Efficient Route Discovery Model for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Generally, the route discovery process permits the sensor nodes in the network to discover the route dynamically using two or more intermediate nodes. Numerous routing techniques have been developed in the past few years which results in poor system performances due to high overhead and energy consumption. In order to attain an effective route discovery in MANET, it is necessary to build an effective protocol with minimum energy consumption and overhead. Therefore, this paper proposes an effective dynamic power Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector based hybrid dynamic group cooperative optimization (DPAODV-HDGCO) technique to conquer certain drawbacks. The significant objective of the proposed DPAODV-HDGCO approach involves determining the reliable route and to minimize overall energy consumption in the MANET network. The proposed technique is capable of adjusting automatically the dynamic power at each node. In addition to this, the overall routing overhead, as well as energy consumption, is also minimized using DPAODV-HDGCO protocol. Finally, the proposed approach is compared for approaches, and from the analysis; the results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
