Analysis of Advantages and Disadvantages of Fragmented Learning in the Era of Internet Big Data

This paper first introduces the concept and characteristics of fragmented learning in the era of Internet big data, and then deeply analyzes the disadvantages and problems of fragmented learning. Fragmented learning has the advantages of being free from time and space constraints, rich learning resources, fast content updating and clear learning topics, but it also leads to weak links between knowledge, lack of teaching feedback links, interference with systematic learning and other shortcomings, mainly including learners’ difficulties in deep thinking, distraction, and difficulty in paying attention to the whole knowledge, serious entertainment tendency of knowledge content and so on, It also puts forward effective strategies to solve the cognitive problems of fragmented learning: using knowledge visualization tools to manage fragmented knowledge, improve metacognitive ability, correct distraction, provide practical content and reduce entertainment tendency.
