Application of Micro-lecture in Table Tennis Teaching for Children

Objective: To improve children’s learning interest in table tennis and the basic techniques and build a solid foundation for lifelong exercise, this paper develops micro-lectures for teaching children table tennis in accordance with the law of their physical and mental development, as well as the techniques and tactics of this sport. Methods: This paper mainly adopts the experimental method, questionnaire surveys and mathematical statistics. The results show that: (1) The proposed micro-lectures on theoretical foundation, tactic demonstration, national ball culture and interesting table tennis by this research are feasible. (2) Table tennis teaching micro-lectures for children can promote their interest in table tennis learning. (3) Table tennis teaching micro-lectures for children can improve their basic table tennis techniques.
