Applications of Cucumber on Automated Functional Simulation Testing

Cucumber is a BDD (behavior driven development) testing framework based on natural language. It maps code technology to business, enabling testers to describe test scripts in natural language without knowing the underlying driver code. Cucumber then flexibly forms simple and understandable test scenarios to realize the reading and maintenance of test cases. We apply Cucumber testing framework to SQATest-AT, an automated simulation testing tool, and improve the main-tainability, reusability and designability of SQATest-AT, which greatly improve the efficiency of product upgrade testing, and ensure the quality of product upgrade testing.
