On synthesis of high order PWM DC/DC Converters

the derivation principle of PWM DC/DC converters were revisited in this paper. A four-terminal switching cell is identified as a building block of high order converters. It is further shown that the well-known fourth order topologies i.e. Cuk, Sepic, and Zeta can be obtained by cyclic rotation of the four-terminal cell. The methodology proposed in this paper can be extended to explore and analyze extensive range of PWM dc/dc converters.
