Design and Research of Multi-sensor Detection System for Internet of Vehicles

Unmanned driving technology and automatic driving assistance systems are the main methods to solve the current road congestion and frequent car accidents. This paper studies and designs a vehicle networking multi-sensor fusion detection system (MSFD-VI system). It is a vehicle-mounted multi-sensor fusion detection system that integrates electromagnetic wave radar, lidar, and vision systems. It improves the existing vehicle-mounted sensor system and develops multi-sensor fusion detection based on frequency modulated continuous wave radar, lidar, and target recognition. The design and experiment of the system achieve the fusion perception of environmental conditions within 200 meters of the car's circumference, realize the recognition of pedestrians, vehicles, and traffic signs, and improve the vehicle information acquisition strategy through the Internet of Vehicles, which is in line with the future development direction of intelligent roads, Is of great significance to driving safety.
