Does the Development of Regional Financial Inclusion Affect Economic Growth?

This paper uses the panel data of 31 provinces and cities in China in 2016, starting from 6 indicators in three dimensions, constructing a regional financial inclusion index, establishing a panel data model, and longitudinally comparing the degree of inclusive financial development in different regions in China. Studies have shown that although the overall development of inclusive finance is stable, it shows a trend of “high in the east, low in the west, and weak in the middle”. At the same time, inclusive finance has something to do with the depth of regional development and per capita disposable income, what's more, disposable income is positively related to inclusive finance. When we improve the development of inclusive finance in the western region, we can also increase the depth of financial development and optimize the allocation of financial resources, thereby contributing to the economic growth of different regions.
