Estimated Loads of Household Electrical appliances

Nowadays the issue of calculating the electrical loads of apartments and houses is particularly acute due to the constant rapid development of technology. Technological progress leads to updating, changing and expanding the composition of household electrical appliances. Some of the changes led to a decrease in the power consumption of different devices. On the contrary, some of the changes led to the emergence of new energy-intensive devices, as well as an increase in the time of their use. However, the values of power consumption, given in the regulatory and scientific and technical literature, were obtained in the 80s. Reference information has not been updated in the last 40 years. Calculations are still carried out on the basis of outdated data. This can lead to a strong deviation of the calculated loads both towards overestimation and towards underestimation of values. This paper presents the results of an experiment to determine the design loads of household electrical appliances.
