Computer Assisted College English CBI Teaching Mode in MOOC Environment

Computer assisted CBI teaching mode with the main idea of “content and language integrated teaching” is a new foreign language teaching method in the Internet environment. It lays more emphasis on the cultivation of students' innovative spirit, imagination and thinking ability. MOOC, with the advantages of high-quality course resources and highly interactive learning process, is leading the global trend of ecological education and learning, and bringing opportunities to the reform of higher education. In order to meet the English learning needs of college students in the “post CET-4” stage, this paper constructs a new College English teaching mode based on CBI in MOOC environment. The results show that the new mode is conducive to improving students' comprehensive English level and critical thinking ability.
