Electric Vehicle Supply Unit Reconfigurable Through HMI

In tackling the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) Goal 9 and Goal 11 being Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure & Sustainable cities and communities respectively, there is a need for developing an efficient way for the sustainable transport system. The paper focuses on developing a cost-effective Electric Vehicle Supply Unit (EVSE) reconfigurable through HMI and the infrastructure for Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) and Battery-Electric Vehicles (BEVs); collectively known as Plug-In Electric Vehicles (PEVs). The results are restricted to the standards (Bharat EV standard, Level 2 EU standard and 3 pin socket), regulations and deployment of EVSE in India for E-Rickshaw, E-Cars and E-Scooters.
