Information systems of virtual laboratories and their development

In this publication, the issue of the development of virtual laboratories (VL) is discussed, where the authors also deal with the division of VL. In the world, virtual laboratories are defined using different properties. For this reason, we will describe several examples from around the world and at the same time define our own attitude to VL. We will state what network VLs exist and describe the ways in which subjects are taught at our faculty. An important factor that is discussed in the article is how and whether it helps to use VL regarding the quality of teaching at all. The next part is focused on the development of information systems (IS). The end of the article is devoted to a summary and the reason why an architectural approach to the development of VL is needed.
