Dual Polarized Cassegrain Reflector Antenna for W-band Applications

A Dual Polarized Cassegrain Reflector Antenna with pencil beam, high gain, and low sidelobe level for W-band applications is presented in this work. The proposed antenna is made up of the main reflector, a sub-reflector, and a high port to port isolated dual polarized horn used as a feed source. At 94 GHz, isolation is below 45 dB, the gain is 37 dB at both ports, and HPBW is 2° for both planes and sidelobe level is below 22 dB are achieved. According to simulation studies, the proposed cassegrain antenna has high gain, low sidelobe level, and good monopulse performance in the W-band.
