Single OTRA-Based Grounded Series Lossy Inductor Configuration

This communication presents a new grounded lossy series immittance configuration, employing operational transresistance amplifier (OTRA). The presented circuit provides a grounded series combination of inductor and resistor. The inductance realized from the proposed circuit is independently tunable without affecting the resistance value. The designed immittance configuration has been verified through PSPICE using CMOS OTRA realized in 0.18µm TSMC technology parameters. Application example of proposed circuit has also been included to justify the theoretical propositions.
