Analysis on Influencing Factors of Mechanical Characteristics of Four-split Downlead in Substation

In this paper, a finite element model of the four-split downlead is established by Beam188 element, and the influence of the angle of hanging points, the number of spacer rods and the split distance on the mechanical characteristics of the downlead under static wind load is analyzed, and the calculation results are calculated and compared with single downlead. The results show that the total tension of the wire gradually decreases with the increase of the down-thread angle; the tension on the four-split wire increases with the decrease of the number of spacer rods; the increase of the split spacing will reduce the rigidity of the split wire and cause the split wire The horizontal tension will increase slightly.
