Hardware Development of Portable Reader Based on ARM Processor

In order to reduce the power consumption of e-reader, improve its endurance and protect readers’ eye health, a portable e-reader based on E Ink technology is designed in this paper. Based on Raspberry CM3 + core board, chip selection, circuit principle design and PCB design is carefully carried out for this reader. In this paper, the embedded Linux development environment is built on the hardware equipment, the WiFi network card driver transplantation, E Ink transplantation and Koreader transplantation are carried out, and the GUI is developed by QT. After testing, it is proved that it has realized the basic functions of the reader.
