Dual-band Antenna Based on Coupled Microstrip Emitters

The section discusses the results of modeling a dual-band antenna, based on connected microstrip emitters. The short strip of the antenna is fed by a coaxial port on one end, and grounded on the other end. The excitation of a long strip is due to the fields of interaction between the strips. Suggested antenna operates in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Antenna was modeled by method of moments of software environment FEKO. The received results can be used in telecommunications and other applications.
