Universal Input Voltage Electrolytic Capacitor-less LED driver with Multi-channel Output

In this paper a multichannel LED driver is introduced which has the features of universal input port, dimming capability, independent output channels, high power factor and the absence of the electrolytic capacitors. The input stage is a bridgeless boost converter operating in CCM with the required control for power factor and voltage control purposes which enables the universal input voltage operation in the range of $(85-220\ \mathbf{V}_{\mathbf{rms}})$, Furthermore, the double line frequency ripple is mitigated using ripple cancellation concept in which two capacitors are charged in such a way that their voltage summation is a pure DC voltage.
