Energy management of a photoelectric system with a storage battery for the needs of a local object with the planned generation of electricity into the grid

The aim of the paper is to improve the energy management of a photoelectric system with a storage battery for the needs of a local object with the planned generation of electricity to the grid only during peak hours while reducing the cost of paying for electricity consumed from the grid. The principles of generation into the grid with the formation of a graph of the degree of battery discharge in accordance with the forecast of generation of a photovoltaic battery during the morning peak hours are considered. Dependencies for their implementation are given. This makes it possible to increase the generation in the evening peak while limiting the generation power to the grid in the morning peak. The choice of the power of the photovoltaic battery, the capacity and degree of discharge of the storage battery, the load power is carried out taking into account the power consumption limit of the local object. The principles of managing the storage battery charge, taking into account the forecast data, have been developed, which makes it possible to reduce the energy consumption from the grid. The principles for the realization of the control system of the converter unit for the implementation of the proposed solutions have been developed. The results of the simulation of energy processes in the daily cycle confirm the possibility of providing the generation power to the grid relatively to the load power in the morning peak up to 125%, and in the evening peak up to 75%. Reducing the cost of paying for energy consumed from the grid is from 1.23 to 20 times at one tariff rate and at least 1.7 (1.95) at two (or three) zones of tariffication.
