A review on Privacy and Security in 6G Networks

Security and privacy are intertwined. The fact is that security and privacy are concerns that everyone, particularly in the sphere of communications, must grasp. The implementation of 5G networks revealed some of its shortcomings, which has shifted the focus of research to 6G networks as a solution for the next generation. This paper discusses privacy and fundamental security concerns connected with 6G networks. As a result, it strengthens and consolidates this information to serve as a foundation for future studies. The paper begins with a history of cellular networks and how its limitations paved the way for the creation of 6G networks. This paper covers the four critical aspects of the 6G network: Distributed AI, Real-time Intelligent Edge, Intelligent Radio, and 3D Intercoms. Additionally, it examines the privacy and security concerns associated with the aforementioned critical technologies. In general, this article addresses the possible uses of 6G as well as the future challenges.
