A Study on Challenges and Opportunities in Blended Learning

Blended learning appeared in recent times as one of the most common pedagogical concepts. With a growing trend, several scholars and researchers have explored blended learning after it prospered. However, the emergence of modern technological advances during the past ten years filled the void in traditional face-to-face instruction and distributed environments for research. The lack of technologies hindered the fusion of conventional face-to-face learning with distributed environments. The purpose of this discussion is to examine and evaluate studies of blended learning by focusing on its challenges and opportunities. The recent research documented that technical advances enable teachers/instructors to apply blended earning in their classes. Still, the need and scope to be applied is one of the core topics for the present paper to address.
