AI and Soft Computing Techniques for Securing Cloud and Edge Computing: A Systematic Review

In the present work, a systematic mapping of various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Soft Computing (SC) techniques for cloud and edge computing security has been summarized. For this purpose, few of the important research papers have been analysed based on three facets viz; topic, contribution and research facets. Under these facets, various parameters namely anomaly detection, data privacy, attack detection, data confidentiality, distributed denial of service, intrusion detection, privacy preserving, security, data integrity, authentication, access control and malware, framework, model, method, process, solution, evaluation, validation, philosophical, opinion and experience have been determined. The present study reveals that security parameter (36.84%), intrusion detection parameter (46.15%) and privacy preserving research parameter (10.52%) are found major criteria for systematic mapping of cloud and edge computing security using AI and SC under topic facet, contribution facet and research facet respectively.
