A Strategic Technique for Transient Stability Enhancement by using Coordinated Control of SVC and Optimal Reclosure of Circuit Breaker

Due to rising demand with constraints on constructing new lines, transmission networks among electric grid have become more and more strained. These are some of the risks of such a network so strained seems to be the risk of failing secure after disruption. This work presented correlated control of SVC with ideal circuit breaker reclosure to improve voltage stability, transient stability and power lurch suppression in an electrical system network. The recommended model results in improved stability of the overall system, achieving the combined objectives of voltage stability enhancement and transient stability improvement operating under diverse operating conditions. The results of simulation study shows that the recommended model is capable in enhancing voltage stability and transient stability and led to strengthening of power transmission capability of power system network under investigation.
