Analysis of HF receiving antenna SNR and application

The relationship between the parameters of the high frequency (HF) antenna and the signalto-noise ratio (SNR) is studied in this paper. External and internal noise features of HF are studied and its relationship with the antenna is investigated. All the antenna parameters that influence the SNR were analyzed synthetically. The most important factor was deduced and pointed out by theoretical analysis and calculation to reveal the basis. A novel receiving HF antenna design with outstanding performance was proposed as an application of our study.
