Design of Underground Tunnel Monitoring System Based on CAN BUS Local Area Network

Aiming at the problems of low reliability of communication transmission in underground pipe corridors and complicated communication protocols for electrical equipment, this paper takes the reliable transmission and safety monitoring of data information of measurement and control nodes as the core, and proposes an underground tunnel monitoring system based on CAN bus local area network. The article introduces the overall design architecture and composition of the system, and details the main software and hardware design of the system and the Ethernet data frame format. In order to improve the reliability of the system network and the effectiveness of the measurement and control nodes, technical methods such as the correlation between the physical address of the measurement and control node and the CAN bus ID number are adopted to realize the safety monitoring of various environmental parameters and execution equipment in the pipe gallery.
