Definition of Performance Indicators for the “Human factor” Axis of a Graduate School's Balanced ScoreCard

The decision information system (DIS), which has become a necessity for the performance of a company, has been developed in several areas. It is noted that solutions provided have their limits and are not adapted to all fields. This is the case of the research field. The lack of a DIS is generally noted at the level of graduate schools (GS). Moreover, studies on the working conditions of these GSs only consider PHD students and research professors. To overcome these limitations, a new decision support methodology (DSM) based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is needed. This paper aims to identify the indicators of the proposed new BSC axis for managing a GS overall performance. To achieve this, the results of surveys on the Definitive stakeholders of Senegalese GS, and the data taken at source, are studied. These indicators concern all the DSH. An adaptation of the BSC to the GS required the integration of a new axis called “Human factor” (Subjective, Intangible, and Behavior).
