Methods for Automating Threat Hunting and Response

Cybersecurity professionals are constantly challenged by hackers who are obtaining new skills and methods for attacking systems. Threat hunters, a sub-profession in cybersecurity, are in high demand to understand common threats and how they apply to attack a network. They need to recognize tools that can help detect and protect systems. This research project creates the challenge posed by threat hunters and finds a technique an IT professional can use to eliminate a threat to a plan. We conducted this research with two different methods using automating hunting and response in real-time. The experiment shows that running the scripts that trigger threats or viruses. The second experiment shows that once the threats have been identified, it eliminates the virus if the administrator privilege applies.
