Design and Analysis of Super Lift LUO Converter Fed PMBLDC Motor Drive Using Solar Energy for Agriculture Applications

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and design a super lift LUO converter fed BLDC motor drive for agricultural applications. The front end connects a photo voltaic system conversion stage to generate the DC voltage. The advantage of super lift LUO converter is very high voltage gain and low cost and high efficiency. The converter operates in continuous conduction mode. The proposed converter operates under different load variations source voltage variations. The voltage of the DC link capacitor will be used to control the speed of the PMBLDC motor drive. The super lift LUO converter with its control circuit was created in Matlab Simulink model. The simulation results shows that the final output voltage should be stable, and that a proper design solar panel could effectively increase output voltage stability.
