Number Display Board Using Voice Recognition

A number display board is necessary in ball games such as football and basketball. However, number input is usually done with a key or a keyboard, which is sometimes annoying because of a slow method. Also, it is hard for people who do not have typing skills. Thus, we implement voice recognition on the number display board. Unlike a traditional number display board, a voice recognition-based number display board is easy and fast to input numbers. Our display board displays two digits in red color and two digits in green one. The board comprises an Arduino UNO microcontroller board, the voice recognition EasyVR Shield, red and green LEDs. Also, we incorporate not only English but also Dzongkha, the national language of Bhutan in voice recognition.
