Research on Anti-electromagnetic Radiation Maternity Wear with Absorbing Wave

The pore and openings of the clothing is the main reason causing the electromagnetic leakage. The anti-radiation maternity clothes mainly adopt reflection type electromagnetic shielding materials, which not only can produce pollution on the surrounding environment, and accessible in the clothing cavity after incident electromagnetic wave. In this paper, aiming at the effects of the pore and openings on the shielding effectiveness (SE), five needle-type models, three kinds of joints, and small window method are used to test the SE. Different needle types are selected in the sewing process, and the absorbing material, clothing structure of the anti-radiation maternity are designed. The SE of the clothing is tested by the GTEM room method. The results show that the shielding performance of stainless steel fabric generally is improved after three types of seam sewing are applied. Among them, the shielding effect with No. 9 needle and a-seam is best, and the SE is stable in the frequency of 45 to 50 dB. The clothing with A-seam type has the most noticeable improvement in the SE. For the cuff around the bottom, adding 5 mm wave absorption fabric encourages the shielding performance of the clothing. The SE improvement of abdominal positive ion fabric is highest, the highest increase is 9 dB. The warp yarn is stainless steel yarn, and the weft yarn is graphene and carbon yarn, and the blended ratio is 2: 1. The absorbing fabric with a density of 150/10 cm has the highest shielding performance on the chest positive. The SE of the new anti-radiation clothing based on the style design of the chest undivided is the best, and the value is up to 28 dB. This paper enriches the related research of the SE methods of the anti-radiation maternity clothing, and provides a new way and thinking for the design, production and evaluation of the electromagnetic shielding clothing.
